Erin Hunter is a collective artist. The Warriors series is one of the best series in the history of Children’s Literature.
This series is for emanating readers of 8 and up. If you are a parent and worry about the content you’re children are learning:
I praise you! A lot of books that seem to write for children are pretty graphic. The graphic nature of the Warriors books does not pass catfights and cats that might breed with different fathers to their kits.
This is true to life and does not go into details of a physical nature, yet stays in the context of reproduction. The violence is not too graphic for children. The cats have many clans and resemble Native American culture quite closely.
This is an incredible series that even adults can enjoy along with their kids or alone.
You may think you’ve read it all, but this book proves you wrong. In this book, there is happiness, sadness, even death, and dark secrets are reveals.
Silverstream, Graystripe’s mate, is going to have his kits! But then the unbelievable happens. Silverstream dies in her kit, and Cinderpelt, who is now forever injured from a monster, unable to save her.
Graystripe goes into Riverclan with his kits, thinking it was for the best (Believe me, it’s not)…
More secrets like this are reveals. So I think you can read the book and read it, and I think you will enjoy it.
This book was just full of drama. I like to think that that’s how a good book is written. That no matter how many times you read it, no matter that you know what’s going to happen, you are still filled with that anticipation, that tension that makes you hang onto the edge of your seat.
Now, the drama and spiraling out of control just made up for it. The emotion that the three are going through and their slow, slow, slow way to the wrong that done to them is quite practical in this unrealistic world.
As all my reviews say, this book is an excellent book for kids from 8-11, in my opinion.
It’s full of action-adventure excitement battle and boundaries, oh, and trust me, and they are so enjoyable you will have kids asking to stay up longer reading. It’s AWESOME.
This book is nearly THE BEST in the series! The battle was surprising, kept attention the whole time. It was so sad when Whitestorm died! This book, filled with tension, suspense, could barely put it down!
The age group is really for all ages, around 6-7 and up. If you are more into realistic books, this might not be the book for you, but if you love cats and fantasy, you’ll enjoy this series. 🙂
Look at Firestar in that new cover. So great! I mean, just at the cover for Into the Wild and this one, you can see just how much he’s improved. You love that they almost mirror each other. So much.
It will always be the most touching book of the Warriors series. It’s pretty much come full circle, and I’m honestly surprised that the writers are still writing for it. I feel like this would have been a pretty good finish with a super edition after. But, I am happy about The Dawn of the Clans series
Wonderful! Everyone knows It written for children/teenagers, but as an adult reader, I helplessly addicted to the Warrior Cats series.
Probably because of my love for cats; this one, in unique, was like the others I’ve read, was well-written, full of excellent adventures.
The six cats go off on a quest which they succeed in finding in the end. Heartwarming and great read!
The reason I like this book so much is that I like the detail that makes me want to read more and see what happens next to the same for the rest of your Warrior Cats books in this series, and I want everyone to read your books.
I fell in love with every one of these books (if you liked the first one you would love every other book.) This has been the only book series that I have read that every book was just as good as the first book. I was on the edge of my seat full time. I couldn’t pull my nose out of the book.
Even if you don’t love reading, this will change your thought, or at the very least, be the only books you love. I hope everyone reads all the Warrior books. And if you do, you will find yourself lost in a world of survival, love, and understanding.
This was a fantastic read, Poor Crookedstar. You felt the pain he had to go through, the part where he broke his jaw. You can honestly feel his pain. Then, what’s worse than breaking your jaw? Being rejected by your mother!
On top of all that, he suddenly felt alone in his clan! Enough to force him to run away! Which reminded me of Ravenpaw, except Crookedstar came back. Overall, You satisfy to have this in Your collection.
Has anyone lost a pet? I mean, where your pet disappears? What if your cat were to join a group of cats and become a warrior? Bluestar’s Prophecy tells the story of Bluestar, a grey-blue cat that grows up to be one in every of the foremost powerful warriors in ThunderClan.
The story of how she learns to hunt prey, lead a group of hunters, and help their clan fight their arch-enemy, RiverClan.
Bluestar, from the first time she is born, is independent, determined, and creative. Part of the mighty ThunderClan, growing up, is challenging for her.
She can be outspoken and headstrong, not making too many friends. After her mother dies suddenly, Bluestar’s necessity becomes a warrior at a very young age.

Bluestar’s Prophecy is written by Erin Hunter and is part of a series of books about four groups of cats, also in graphic novel format.
This book is one of the best of the Super Editions! The book is particular and descriptive, creating it seem as if you are really with Moth Flight.
It can be emotional on some parts, though, such as a character’s death, which made me cry. This book is excellent, and if you enjoy reading Warriors, you should buy this book.
In this book, you experience the life of a WindClan warrior whose father wants him to become a tunneler. Tallkit loves the feel of the wind in his fur and can’t stand the thought of being trapped underground. Under the teasing of Shrewkit, he grows. Moons later Tallpaw becomes a moor runner apprentice against his parent’s will, Sandgorse, Tallpaw’s father has taken him underground for the required training for every apprentice.
So I think you can read the book and read it, and I think you will enjoy it.
The only thing is that there are some deaths, not many, but still sad. This book is very action-packed and full of adventure!
I love the twists and turns in the book. I thought that there were a few surprising things in the middle and towards the end of the book. If you like excitement, this is a book I would suggest.
Never mind if you are an adult if you are a cat lover, this book – and every other one in the Best Warrior Cat Books Series – is for you. The plot is lovely, and the cats are so real that you can look at your cats and find a group member who fits everyone. Maybe the thing I love best is the added insight into my cats.
It is difficult to put the book down and too long a wait for the next book in the series. As you read, you come to know the cats, and they all become genuine, you are there with them and cheering them on.
